Julien Peltier, nomadic artist and alchemist of the soul, has chosen to listen to these whispers and answer them with his art. Project 88 is a unique odyssey, a meeting of the tangible and the ethereal, a quest where creation transforms into an offering, a tribute to places that transcend time.

For five years, 88 high places in Europe and beyond, universes of silent vibratory accents, will host this quest. These sanctuaries - ancient forests, sacred mountains, buildings bathed in eternity - will be visited, experienced, felt and integrated. Each site will reveal its own intimate breath, transfigured by the artist into 88 masterful works. More than an artistic project, this is a spiritual odyssey, a delicate bridge between matter and the invisible.

Creating with the Earth and the Spirit of the World

Each painting will be a vibrant imprint, born of a deep communion with the energy of the places explored. Julien Peltier will fashion his works from the natural elements present on the sites: the ochre of the rocks, the hues of the local plants, or the dust and ashes of the land he has crossed. These raw materials, steeped in the memory of the place, will be transformed into bursts of light woven with presence.

Here, the act of creation becomes a subtle alchemy, a conversation between the human hand and the immortal forces of nature. Each gesture is a response, each work an open door to the immemorial. To bear witness to this unlikely journey, Eliott Antoine, philosopher, writer, musician and film-maker, travels alongside the artist as an enlightened observer. Through his stories, his musical compositions and his visual recordings, he transmits the sensitive adventure with his subtle voice, and sheds a poetic and philosophical light on the moments when art meets essence.

Eliott Antoine does not limit himself to a documentary approach: he immerses himself in this odyssey, capturing the signature of each place, translating the artist's gestures into words and images. Together, they weave a narrative in two voices, where creation and reflection intertwine to create an unprecedented experience.

The primordial spark of this journey will resonate in Assisi, in the light-drenched hills where Saint Francis saw the divine reflected in every blade of grass. Here, Julien Peltier will conceive the first work of Project 88, infused with the soul of the place and the whisper of centuries.
